Background

His parents were originally from Gridania. They had tried to live in the city but after years of dealing with Gridania being a horrible place they decided that if they were going to have a kid they were going to move somewhere more hospitable. (Not that Ul'Dah turned out to be much better, but they tried.)

While Austrex's family wasn't exactly poor, they certainly weren't rich either, and so he decided to become an adventurer.

He met Yuyurin while looking for jobs one day, and the two ended up working together. Slowly, they picked up more people in their makeshfit group, but they also quite often lost people (neither of them are the easiest to get along with at times, after all). Hironari was one of the only people to really stick around.

Relationships

	Hironari	They get along in a sort of weird friendly rivalry way.
	Khaishan	Romantically involved. Very protective of, and annoyingly affectionate at times.
	Yuyurin	They aren't close per se, but travelling and fighting alongside each other has lead them to trust and respect one another.
